The School of International Education, BIT, started to deliver a four-year undergraduate BA (Hons) Accounting programme in association with Business Informatics, Systems and Accounting (BISA), Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK. The programme runs at BIT campus in Beijing with staff from both BIT and Henley Business School. Graduates from this programme will receive degrees and degree certificates from both BIT and the University of Reading.
We are seeking to appoint one or two Assistant Professors (lecturer) in Accounting to join our academic team in Beijing. The appointee is expected to make a significant contribution to the academic teaching (including outreach activities) with associated responsibilities in administration and collaborative research. The teaching may include a combination of lecturing on various modules, seminars, workshops, tutorials, project/dissertation supervision at the undergraduate level, together with appropriate assessment and feedback in the area of accounting and financial management. Applications are welcome from candidates with professional experiences and academic practice in Accounting.
The salary will be within the range of 300,000 to 400,000 RMB (£36,000 to £48,000) per annum depending on qualifications. BIT will cover one round-trip international air ticket every year and provide insurance and accommodation. There may be some travel between the UK and China as required.
