The University of Bolton has embarked on an ambitious enhancement agenda as a “Teaching Intensive, Research Informed” University. The Business School is now seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer in the field of Accountancy to underpin our recent excellent NSS student satisfaction survey results (91%) and to further enhance our ACCA gold partner status final year professional programme.

The post is intended to contribute to and extend the Business School’s international reputation for high quality teaching in Accountancy (underpinned by research) which provides HE level 3 and undergraduate degree courses right through to taught MSc and final year ACCA programmes.

We welcome applications from candidates with an interest and quantitative specialism in Audit and Taxation.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the development of teaching, research and administrative activities in the Business School, specifically you will be expected to develop and teach on both undergraduate and postgraduate modules on the accountancy programme.

Applicants should be qualified accountants with one of the established professional bodies - ICAEW/CIMA or ACCA. Please note that the lack of a PhD or teaching experience should not discourage qualified accountants from applying for this role as the University will provide full support and training for the right candidate.
