At the Academy of Sport and Physical Activity, we're proud to have one of the strongest teaching teams in the country combined with a world class sport research and consultancy profile. We are looking for a Principal Lecturer with significant research and knowledge transfer output that is reflected in an established record for REF submission to join the academy.

You will lead on the coordination of our staffs REF submissions and play a proactive role in achieving our business goals. You will play a key role in facilitating research and knowledge transfer output to agreed objectives and produce and implement an Academy Research and Knowledge Transfer strategy. You will also lead on the use of academy research and other sources of research into teaching, by liaising with academic delivery groups, therefore the ability to network effectively with a range of stakeholders is key.

With experience of leading and motivating others towards research and knowledge transfer goals, you must use your excellent leadership and negotiation skills to engage staff across the academy. You must have the ability to line manage staff and be able to produce high quality publications which are compatible for future REF submission in Unit 26.
