The Partnerships Directorate within our Advancement and Partnerships Division is focussed on the growth of our industrial and business partnerships and our civic and regional links, as well as our international business engagement.

A vacancy has arisen for the post of Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager. A senior role in the Partnerships team, the post holder will work with the Director of Partnerships, the COO of the 5G Innovation Centre and with senior academics to help develop the University’s engagement with its strategic industrial and business partners in sectors directly aligned with the University’s Research themes, with an initial focus on the Health Sector. The purpose of the role is to build strong relationships and translate them into long-term mutually beneficial and innovation based partnerships.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, relationship builder and negotiator, and will have experience of relationship management at executive board level. You will have excellent project management skills and commercial acumen, and significant experience of managing and writing technically complex bids, with proven success.

We are seeking to appoint a highly committed, motivated and organised individual who will demonstrate an ability to work with a broad range of colleagues in support functions and senior academics.
