With excellent communication skills and previous teaching and assessment experience at undergraduate level you will demonstrate a positive attitude to the teaching and research goals of the Department. Applications are welcome from candidates with experience and expertise in practical elements of Physical Education and School Sport and who can contribute to other areas of the programme curriculum.
About the Role
You will be able to undertake the teaching and assessment of practical aspects of our Physical Education and School Sport undergraduate degree programme, and contribute to module delivery in other areas of the programme. You will be expected to contribute to our other undergraduate programmes, possibly to the Department’s research activity, and as appropriate, to the academic administration of the Department.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic department where teaching is supported by high quality specialist spaces including well equipped psychology, biomechanics and physiology laboratories, a dedicated multi activity teaching gymnasium, and use of the Sporting Edge complex with its associated indoor and outdoor facilities for a wide range of field sports, swimming and athletics.
We want you to feel happy when you come to work and proud when you go home.
Our comprehensive staff health & wellbeing programme gives you the opportunity to; have a lunchtime stroll across our beautiful campus, a trim from our onsite hairdresser, make an appointment for a massage and to get together with colleagues over free food and drink to watch the latest film. This is just a taste of what we offer for you to take full advantage of at Edge Hill University.
