Kellogg College is one of Oxford University’s largest and most international graduate colleges and has a unique mix of students: it is the University’s leading college for students reading for degrees on a part-time basis, and has a strong and vibrant body of full-time students.
Kellogg College seeks to recruit a friendly and energetic Hospitality Services Co-ordinator who will report directly to the Domestic Bursar, providing administration in the area of Hospitality services. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and will involve occasional out-of-hours or weekend work. The College hospitality team has the primary responsibility for ensuring that the College catering and service provision is of the highest standard possible. The Hospitality Services Co-ordinator will manage the Domestic Bursary Administration Assistant and will work closely with all College staff, including the Executive Chef, Restaurant Manager, Events Officer and Finance Office.
This is a fast paced environment where the role involves being able to manage a number of activities at one time. You will be able to remain calm under pressure and be able to deal with situations and people politely and diplomatically. You will have previous experience in a hospitality or events administration role as well as experience in supervising staff. Out of hours working and weekend working will sometimes be required.
The role is interesting, varied and challenging. Reporting to the Domestic Bursar, you will play an integral part in building on Kellogg’s already excellent reputation for food and service, also playing an integral part in new revenue generating opportunities.
