The appointment will be on UCL Grade 10. The salary range will be Competitive salary and benefits package, inclusive of London Allowance.

The Development Office at UCL has launched a campaign to raise £600m to support students, research and the transformation of our campus. It is the biggest campaign ever launched by a London university and will enable us to achieve more than ever before to secure our position as one of the world’s top universities. We are now looking for a new member of the Leadership Team to help us deliver on this considerable ambition. This post will act as Campaign Director to ensure our activities are strategic, co-ordinated and focussed; develop relationships with fundraising partners to ensure the whole is greater than the sum of our parts; and provide strategic direction to our operations team. The Director reports into the Vice-Provost (Development) and regularly works with the University’s senior management team including our Provost and President.

We’re looking for someone exceptional. You must have experience of a leadership position in a complex operations role in higher education, not-for-profit or a comparable sector, demonstrable experience of formulating and implementing strategy, and evidence of quickly establishing credibility with senior staff and stakeholders. You will have outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills and be committed to championing a culture that values and develops its talent.
