40 hours per week including evenings and some weekends

St Hugh’s College is seeking to recruit two additional talented Waiters/Waitresses to join the current team to help in the dining hall and with conference events. The duties will involve “meeting and greeting” our students, Fellows, staff and visitors with a smile, clearing and setting tables, serving food and dealing with payments. The role will also include helping with College events, serving drinks and canapés, and taking responsibility for ensuring that all our guests’ expectations are met during their stay at St Hugh’s College. The role will also involve some light cleaning duties. You will be expected to communicate with chefs and other team members, ensuring all standards are met with the highest attention to detail.

Applicants should have significant prior experience, or equivalent, in a similar role as well as a friendly and relaxed manner. The successful candidates must have good communication skills and take pride in their work to ensure the highest levels of service provision.
