The Finance team at the University of Reading is undergoing a major transformation in the way it delivers its services to both internal and external stakeholders and to meet the ambitious growth and challenges that the University has set itself. A number of vacancies for Transactions Clerks - School Finance have now arisen and the University is seeking suitably experienced individuals to fill these roles.

The role provides financial support and assistance to schools especially as regards the initial transactions and related tasks associated with procurement / purchasing.

You will have:

- Understanding of basic accounting and journal posting

- Good communication skills

- Experience of working in an accounts environment

- Highly motivated, organised, efficient and a self-starter
