We are seeking to recruit an adaptable and experienced full-time programme leader in Performing Arts to join our growing HE team.

The Northern School of Creative Industries aspires to become the Northern centre for higher education and training in support of the creative economy. We have excellent resources, a strong team ethos, a very good reputation as well as a long tradition for delivering high quality creative higher education. Scholarly activity too is strong and there is much opportunity to embed your teaching specialism and scholarship into the delivery of our HE curriculum.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher and practitioner and will have the skills to lead the development of this exciting curriculum area. Qualified to Masters level you will be an enthusiastic and experienced teacher as well as an accomplished performer and you will demonstrate the ability to provide a creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.

The Northern School of Creative Industries actively promotes a collaborative approach, and you will be expected to lead and contribute to creative projects with colleagues from across the School and wider Faculty. Experience of teaching on Higher Education is essential.

Current experience of live performance as well confidence and experience in production techniques, direction and the use of appropriate lighting and sound equipment would be desirable.
