LSE is the world’s leading social science institution, which attracts students from across the globe. The Residential and Catering Services Division (RCSD) is responsible for the halls of residence and catering facilities at the LSE. We aim to provide first class, affordable services to staff and students to support and enhance the LSE community.
RCSD is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly organised and pro-active individual to fill a key role with a dual focus on customer service and projects. As part of the RCSD Systems Team, the post holder will be responsible for providing first line technical and user IT support, either in person, by email or by telephone and for carrying out work packages and participating in IT projects.
You will have experience of providing first line support to users of computer systems and the ability to work quickly and accurately when undertaking repetitive configuration tasks. You will also have experience of participating in the organisation and execution of IT projects.
The Division uses a property management system for its residential business and an EPOS system in its catering outlets (as well as a range of other systems). Knowledge of similar systems would be an advantage.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
