Reception and General Assistant

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 4. .

We are seeking a Receptionist and General Assistant to join our busy administration team in UCL History. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries to the Department. Duties will include responding to enquiries from prospective and current students and external enquirers; receipt of student coursework; routine accounts processing; updating information on the departmental website and Moodle pages; providing support to academic and administrative colleagues.

Candidates must have excellent communication and numeracy skills. Candidates need good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Exel and the ability and willingness to learn new work packages (notably finance and content management systems); as well as to work as part of a team in a busy office.
