Research Support Officer (Impact and Performance)

Sheffield Hallam University - Research and Innovation Office/Research Support Team

Part time 0.8 FTE / 29.6 hours per week

£32,600 to £36,672 (pro rata) per annum, dependent on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Research and Innovation Office to lead the area of research impact and contribute towards achieving the University’s Research and Innovation Strategy.

Working closely with the Research Development Manager, you will support key aspects of the University's research portfolio including impact, research assessment and governance - activities which are pivotal to the University's preparation for the next Research Excellence Framework.

A proven track record of leading discrete and significant areas of work is essential, as you will take on an institution-wide role co-ordinating the impact agenda. You will have extensive knowledge of research impact issues, including a thorough understanding of the underpinning research assessment context.  You will be a have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and audiences.
