Salary: £23,610 - £26,360 pro-rata, 0.6 FTE

Applications are invited for a part-time Healthcare/Administrative Assistant within the Population Health & Occupational Disease group of the National Heart and Lung Institute. You will work as part of the ADVANCE Study Team to support the registered nurses in the delivery of the research programme to Study participants.

The ADVANCE Study is a collaborative study between the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC), Headley Court, Imperial College, London and Kings College, London. It is funded by the UK Ministry of Defence and the charity, Help for Heroes. The ADVANCE Study offers a unique opportunity to examine the medium and long-term medical and psychosocial outcomes including cardiovascular health, musculoskeletal conditions, pain, quality of life and mental health, of injured UK servicemen who returned from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

You should have NVQ2 training or equivalent experience in a clinical field together with experience of personal care and related procedures. Previous administrative/clerical experience with a good command of spoken and written English.

The post is part-time and fixed-term, available immediately for two years’ in the first instance and is based at the DMRC, Headley Court, near Epsom, Surrey.
