This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in the School of Computing and Mathematics, which is based in Keele University’s Faculty of Natural Sciences.

Applications are welcomed from dynamic and enthusiastic individuals committed to high quality research and teaching in the field of Applied Mathematics, and who have interests that complement our research strengths in this area, especially Industrial Applied Mathematics, while broadening the scope of our teaching expertise.

This post is part of continued growth and expansion of applied mathematics at Keele, which presents many new opportunities for the development of synergies in both research and teaching. Candidates will be expected to develop an active research programme that both complements and extends our existing research profile in Applied Mathematics. The successful candidate will have a PhD in an appropriate area of Mathematical Science and will have a strong commitment to delivering high quality undergraduate teaching, including supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and the development and delivery of new modules. The post-holder will have the skills, enthusiasm and flexibility for teaching across a wide range of Applied Mathematics topics.

Appointment at Grade 8 may be made in exceptional circumstances and will require significant extra experience in all areas. Applications are encouraged from candidates across the full range.
