Salary: Appointment will be made on the Lecturer Merged Salary Scale at a point in line with Government Pay Policy (€32,540 to €46,615 per annum), appointment will be made no higher than point 8 (€46,615)

The School of Engineering, Trinity College Dublin, invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Environmental Systems Modelling. The position will support key research activities related to the TCD Environmental Engineering Group. The post will contribute to the School’s education, research and innovation activities in environmental engineering, and develop a new area of research in the numerical modelling of environmental systems.

The successful candidate will have a degree in civil/environmental engineering or a related scientific discipline and a postgraduate specialization and experience in environmental systems modelling. Candidates should have a record of success in environmental systems research and the ability to lead independent and collaborative research projects. They should also have an ability to contribute to teaching activities and strategic developments within the School at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
