One Permanent Post, & One Temporary 5 year post

Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Finance, UCD College of Business. One permanent and/or one temporary 5 year appointment may be offered following interview. The successful candidate will actively participate in the following areas and will have a track record in:

Research: The Subject Group places strong emphasis on research leading to publication in international, peer-reviewed academic journals and in leading debate in the field of Finance in the academic and public space. Members of faculty are widely published in journals such as Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Econometrics and Journal of Banking and Finance.

Teaching and Learning: The Subject Area makes a significant contribution to the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including in particular, the MSc in Finance and the MSc in Quantitative Finance and the Bachelor in Economics and Finance

Administration: Assume administrative and managerial duties as appropriate to the role.

Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Scale:  €50,807 - €76,936 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
