Associate Lecturer in Policing and Criminal Investigation

The School of Forensic and Applied Sciences is seeking to fill a vacancy at Associate Lecturer (G) grade. 

The post is to support the development and delivery of the foundation degree in Policing. This will include delivery of a number of identified modules under the guidance of the module tutor, development of own teaching materials with assistance and support as well as contribution to the development of module information packs, assignments and examination questions.

UCLan Policing is a vibrant and progressive team of academic staff with significant knowledge, experience and understanding of both teaching and learning and evidenced based research in the field of policing.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate recent experience of having worked in policing or a related area and be capable of delivering modules in the specified area.  A good honours degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Policing as well as a willingness to register for a postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject are essential requirements. The successful candidate will possess excellent presentation and communications skills and demonstrate a flexible and innovative approach to teaching.
