Applications are invited for a Research Associate in catalysis based at the School of Chemistry, University of Manchester. The project will develop new electrochemical approaches to catalysis for organic synthesis, and is collaborative between the Greaney, Turner and Dryfe laboratories. The project is funded by the EPSRC Catalysis Hub and will look to establish new electrosynthesis methods for C-C bond formation, which can be integrated with biocatalysis to produce enantiomerically pure products. You must hold or be about to obtain, a PhD or equivalent in organic chemistry. The appointment is available from December 2016 and tenable for 2 years.
