We will be further developing our profile across the region, building upon key areas of academic strength to support our research and knowledge transfer activities.
The post holder will have experience of teaching students, ideally at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. They will be required to support the continuing academic developments within the Department. This post will support the delivery of our new marketing programmes including: BA Marketing; BA Marketing (Retail); BA Marketing (Advertising and Public Relations); BA Marketing (Digital); BA Marketing (Consumer Psychology). In addition there is a new programme presently going through validation: MSc Marketing Leadership and Practice. The successful applicant will contribute to teaching on these programmes. Knowledge of digital marketing, social marketing, marketing communications planning, retail marketing, relationship marketing or public relations would be an advantage.
In addition to teaching, candidates will also be expected to contribute to the research activities undertaken within the Department. Candidates should be qualified to postgraduate level and will be expected to possess a doctorate, be nearing completion, or have industry experience commensurate with contributing to the knowledge base of the discipline or pedagogy.
