Join a unique British University in China. The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) was the first Sino-foreign university to open its doors in China. This award winning campus offering a UK style education has grown to establish a student body of over 6,000 in just 12 years.
The Office of Global Engagement is newly created to oversight a range of internationalization activities for UNNC. It encompasses international student recruitment, mobility, select student and scholar support, partnerships, and scholarship and is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy Director, Global Recruitment & Marketing to meet UNNC’s 2020 international student recruitment goals. The Deputy Director reports to the Executive Director, Global Student Experience and will work to develop an aggressive recruitment strategy aligned with institutional goals. This position will require international travel and working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Salary will be within the range of £34,956 – £46,924 per annum depending on skills and experience (salary progression beyond this is subject to performance). In addition, an attractive package including accommodation allowance, travel allowance and insurance will be provided for international appointments.
This post is available from 6 February 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter and will initially be offered on a fixed-term contract with the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China for a period of up to three years. This contract may be extended on an indefinite basis by mutual agreement.
