Lecturer in Statistics

We wish to appoint an outstanding candidate to the role of Lecturer in Statistics, to further enhance our teaching and research in the area.

You will have the expertise to teach across the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum, including the supervision of MSc dissertations. You will also possess a record of internationally-excellent research and take an active part in the Statistics and Probability group's research activities.

You will also have a high level knowledge of Statistics and have research expertise in an area that will complement and enhance the department’s research strategy and goals. You will also have the ability to develop research objectives, projects and proposals. You will have excellent IT skills and a willingness to work proactively with colleagues in other work areas/institutions.

Salary will be within the range: £38,183 - £46,924 a year and the post is available on an open contract from 1 August 2017.
