Senior Lecturer in Student Engagement

You are invited to apply to be part of our Learning and Teaching team in the role of Senior Lecturer in Student Engagement. Our mission is to be a global leader within the field of academic development and you could be a vital link in this endeavour.

Using evidence to demonstrate your abilities, you should apply for this important role with suitable experience including a PhD, EdD or equivalent. You should have extensive experience relevant to academic development for student engagement in higher education. You should also be skilled in change management and have an established publication track record.

You will lead the IAD provision in the area of academic development for student engagement and will conduct related research. You will provide high level pedagogical advice and support to Schools and Colleges in relation to both emerging and established programmes. You will contribute to our Continuing Professional Development Framework for Learning and Teaching; this will include course leadership on the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice. You will also contribute to our provision for tutors and demonstrators. You are needed to manage and mentor individuals and small groups in this role. You will be keen to try new initiatives and develop collaborative relationships internally and externally with key stakeholders. Your excellent communicative and organisational skills will demonstrate evidence to support your application in all these areas.
