Lecturer in Electronic Engineering / Electrical Engineering

Based in Milton Keynes

You will contribute to a new Electronic / Electrical Engineering strand of teaching within our BEng and MEng qualifications at all study levels, and more broadly to distance-learning module presentation in the general engineering area. You will carry out up to two weeks of face-to-face teaching annually at our engineering residential schools held in July & August.

You will be research active either in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or in a cognate discipline that aligns with the existing research in the School and/or wider Faculty, and will be expected to secure external research funding, publish in high-ranking peer reviewed journals and contribute to future REF submissions.

You must be committed to the principles of equality and diversity in all aspects of your teaching and research. Experience of online and/or distance education would be desirable.

The University is proud to have gained an Athena SWAN Institutional Bronze Award in April 2013 with the School of Engineering & Innovation gaining an individual Bronze Award in October 2016.
