We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching on the Nanchang Joint Programme, led by the School of Biological and Chemical Sciences. This will require up to 5 visits per annum to Nanchang University in China, two of up to two weeks duration and the others shorter visits, to deliver Cell Biology teaching (in English) for the pre-clinical component of this joint programme. http://www.sbcs.qmul.ac.uk/nanchang/index.html.In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake a significant programme of research that will contribute to growth in Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research.
Applicants must have high quality publications either in, or about to appear in, the public domain.
The post is full time with an indefinite term. Starting salary will be in the range £40,182 - £59,104 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
