Senior Accounts Clerk

Location: South Cambridge

An opportunity has arisen to join the busy Finance team within University Biomedical Services. This is a varied role that includes processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, working with excel to analyse and recharge costs, and deal with queries from suppliers and colleagues.

The post holder will need to be flexible and able to help cover for other members of the team as required. The ability to work to deadlines is an important element of the role.

Candidates should be educated to GCSE C in English and Maths or equivalent, and have good interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be required to have relevant experience in an accounts-based environment.

An AAT Foundation/Introductory qualification would be an advantage and experience using the University's Finance System (UFS) would be desirable.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment and a security check.
