We are expanding our academic provision and are seeking to appoint two Senior Lecturers to join our team of experienced academic staff within the Nursing Team. We are looking for inspiring and enthusiastic academics to make a key contribution to our academic provision through teaching, research and enterprise.
To be considered for interview applicants are required to have a postgraduate qualification in an area relevant to the School and a doctorate. You will also hold a degree, be registered with the NMC as an Adult Nurse and be eligible for continuing registration. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of current issues and policies for Nursing and how these impact on training and the workforce, and show evidence of high quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Applications are invited from candidates with work experience and teaching experience in Nursing.
With the support of three research centres, Men’s Health, Health Promotion, and Dementia, the School offers a wide range of exciting and challenging subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The focus of our education and research is to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities for which we liaise closely with a range of Professional, Regulatory and Statutory Bodies, as well as employers who provide placements for our students.
