Lecturer/Teaching Fellow in Business Management

Contribute to the regional, national and international development of Business Management provision at one of the UK’s largest business schools. You’ll build on our successful UG and PG routes and degrees, as well as strong links with employers and professional bodies including the CMI. Joining Birmingham City Business School at our city-centre building, you’ll ensure an excellent student experience through the use of relevant and inspiring learning, teaching and assessment methods.

All roles will support continuing academic developments within the Department of Management, HR and Enterprise, but generally Lecturers will already hold a Doctorate and will combine teaching with research and Teaching Fellows will be directly involved in student experience initiatives with teaching. With industry and teaching experience, you’ll have delivered at a combination of undergraduate, postgraduate and/or professional levels at module and/or programme level.

A willingness to teach across the UG and PG courses is essential.

The Department has a wide remit with courses in Business Management, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, HRM, SCM, MBA, Management Consultancy, Innovation Management, Organisational Risk and new developments planned in Events, Global Management and a growth in our successful work based learning portfolio.
