The Head of Undergraduate (UG) Programmes is a senior member of academic staff in the Faculty. The post-holder has overall responsibility for the UG programmes (taught and research) portfolio in the Faculty of Business and Law. The role requires working effectively with subject and programme leaders in the Faculty and across faculties, and with other key personnel associated with portfolio leadership and design.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrable track record of successful leadership, whether in an academic or industry context, and will possess a subject specialism that directly aligns with the work of the Faculty. A robust understanding of UK Higher Education is essential, as is an ability to establish / maintain positive external networks. A Master's and a professional qualification (or equivalent professional experience) related to the Faculty’s work are essential. A Doctorate in a discipline related to the subject group is desirable.
