Working as part of the health and safety team, the post holder will undertake the lead role in providing specialist advice on chemical health and safety and will assist the University to develop and maintain legally compliant standards across the full breadth of its activities. The post holder will also work in partnership with colleagues to support, promote and improve safety culture and standards across the University.
Standard Terms & Conditions
Salary will be on the Management, Professional and Administrative Grade, level 8, £41,709 - £48,327 per annum.
This position is full time, Monday to Friday 09.00 – 17.00, and open ended.
New entrants to the University will be required to serve a probationary period of 6 months.
The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Universities’ Superannuation Scheme. Further information regarding the scheme is available from the Superannuation Officer, who is also prepared to advise on questions relating to the transfer of Superannuation benefits.
