Web Solutions at the University of Kent is looking for a Front End Developer to join its team. Working with schools, departments, professional services and research projects, Web Solutions delivers high quality web services to clients around the University.

As a Front End Developer for the team, you will be leading on the full life cycle development for web development - from initial scoping stage through to testing and deployment. Proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript, you will be confident in leading other members of staff on project developments. You will be capable in learning about existing services and instigating service improvement, whilst proposing and implementing innovative solutions for projects requiring dynamic services created.

Working within Web Solutions now is an exciting time, working with our colleagues in Web Development, we contribute to the CMS and Theme projects, whilst working with our partners and stakeholders on the migration to these new services.

Information Services is comprised of four sections: Customer Support, Library Collections and IT Development together directly support almost all areas of University activity, and the Planning and Administration section supports the work of the department.
