Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Assistant/Research Associate to work within the growing Evidence Synthesis research team. Amongst other duties you will undertake systematic reviews (narrative and meta-analytic) and scoping reviews, undertaking all aspects of the review, from the development of protocols to the narrative or statistical data synthesis and production of the final report/paper; contribute to the development of a series of short courses in evidence synthesis; undertake teaching of evidence synthesis on workshops and internal training courses.
Candidates should tailor their application according to the level of post they are applying for; an MSc in a relevant field is essential at Assistant level, a PhD is required for appointment at Associate level. Successful candidates will be appointed to a suitable point on the common payscale according to qualifications and experience.
You will be self motivated, have excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to bid for research funds.
This post is for 12 months in the first instance.
