The University of Warwick is one of the UK’s great success stories. We are looking for a Finance Manager to support the Group Accountant and Head of Group Accounting in the preparation of the University’s statutory and management accounts and the financial plan and to provide expertise through maximising relevant IT processes and in communications with departments and activities across the University.
The role is a fairly even mixture between Management Accounting/5 year planning, Systems and Process Development and Management Reporting.
We are looking for applicants to have a recognised Accountancy Qualification (ACA, CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA) Broad experience within a large finance function, Sound knowledge of VAT and corporation tax, Good Honours Degree, Good interpersonal skills, Extremely organised and methodical approach, Ability to work calmly under pressure, Significant experience of financial IT systems (SAP an advantage), Good Excel spreadsheet skills.
