The School of Engineering is seeking to appoint a Project Manager for the UK Collaboratorium in Infrastructure and Cities (UKCRIC) National Buried Infrastructure Facility (NBIF) on campus at Birmingham. The Government-backed UKCRIC initiative will provide a world-class national infrastructure research capability. Significant UK Government investment is being channelled to the University via EPSRC as the delivery partner, forming part of an investment in 13 UK universities.
The post holder will have sufficient knowledge and experience of project management to enable them to play an important role in ensuring the success of the UKCRIC project at Birmingham. The post holder will be required to lead on this strategic and complex project and to provide comprehensive advice on project management to senior staff, both academics and Professional Services.
