The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £32,958 to £39,324 per annum, plus £2,623 per annum London Allowance depending on qualifications.
This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 3 years.
The post holder is expected to be part of a team working to develop novel acquisition, reconstruction and motion correction techniques for 2D and 3D multiparametric quantitative cardiac MR, including novel approaches for cardiac MR fingerprinting.
The project is part of a Programme Grant together with Imperial College, Queen Mary University and Oxford University. The post holder will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing MR acquisition and reconstruction techniques, designing and running validation experiments in phantoms, volunteers and patients.
The post will use the MR infrastructure provided by the Division of Imaging Sciences and Biomedical Engineering and will be based at St Thomas’ Hospital.
The selection process will include presentation and a panel interview.
