The Careers and Employability Service is a large, award-winning professional service which is committed to advancing the graduate prospects of our students and graduates. Based in locations across all three UK campuses, we work as one service to provide collaboratively conceived, locally managed and collectively delivered services to students from all our Schools and Faculties.

Applications are invited for the above post based within the Careers and Employability Service in the Portland Building on University Park Campus.

Focusing on promoting job opportunities and organising employer activities on-campus the role of Events and Vacancies Coordinator is available as a maternity cover post for a period of 3 months. The post is available from January 2017.

This post is part of the Events and Vacancies Team which is responsible for the organisation, administration and promotion of a range of services for employers seeking to recruit Nottingham students/graduates for post-graduation employment, vacation work, work experience and voluntary work. Duties include liaising with a vast range of employers to publicise vacancies to students and graduates through a range of media and arranging a variety of on-campus events.

The ability to work effectively, efficiently and flexibly and to communicate with colleagues, students and stakeholders at varying levels is essential. There are periods in the year where a flexibility to work some evenings is required, in order to support on-campus event activity.
