This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 3 years
This is a Full-time – 100% full time equivalent
The post holder is expected to be part of a team working to develop novel acquisition, reconstruction and motion correction techniques for 2D and 3D multiparametric quantitative cardiac MR, including novel approaches for motion corrected 3D whole-heart MRI.
The project is part of a Programme Grant together with Imperial College, Queen Mary University and Oxford University. The post holder will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing MR acquisition and motion correction techniques, designing and running validation experiments in phantoms, volunteers and patients.
The post will use the MR infrastructure provided by the Division of Imaging Sciences and Biomedical Engineering and will be based at St Thomas’ Hospital.
