Research Fellow in Construction & Project Management (Fixed term 3 years)

Applications are invited for the position of Research Fellow in the School of the Built Environment and Architecture (BEA). The post holder will be concerned with research and future academic development in managing resources in complex project environments; managing knowledge and intangible assets; and addressing socio-economic issues pertaining to “integrated delivery” in project environments. This will include the use of multi-methodological approaches in investigating complex phenomena and contexts, and the use of qualitative data analytical approaches to interrogate data. There will be opportunities for engaging with academic and industrial partners nationally and internationally.

Candidates should have a PhD, preferably in the Built Environment subject area, a good social science background, and will be expected to have in-depth knowledge of qualitative research methodological approaches and data analyses. S/he should have good communication and presentation skills, and will be actively involved in research bidding, and in publishing in high impact journals.

There is also an expectation that s/he would support the organisation of research conferences, seminars and workshops.
