Applications are invited for the 4 Year Temporary position of Research Programmes Officer - International Programmes, UCD Research and Innovation.

The Research Programmes Group is part of the integrated Research and Innovation unit. The group comprises 3 Research Programmes Officers focused on people, international and national programmes working in collaboration with the pre-award services team. Each of the Research Programmes Officers are expert in their area and provide the organisation with expert direction on the funding programmes that are best aligned with UCD’s objectives. They work with the pre-award team and the research partners to design new supports for each funding call. Their key focus is on enhancing the competiveness and effectiveness of the research community to securing research funding. They are a primary point of contact for the funding agencies, such as the European Commission and National Support Network for Horizon 2020 to ensure UCD is well represented in new programme development and design.

Salary Scale €56,058 - €65,000 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
