Salary: £34,956 to £46,924 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
The Department of Civil Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham invites applications for an Assistant Professorship in Structural Engineering. The successful candidate(s) will be expected to contribute to the delivery, administration and development of the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The University of Nottingham is an international institution with campuses in the UK, Malaysia and China. The University and the Department of Civil Engineering consistently rank highly in university guides and the Department was ranked 6th in the UK in the most recent 2016 QS League Tables.
Candidates should hold a BEng or MEng degree in Civil Engineering and be a Chartered Engineer. Significant professional engineering experience in the structural design industry and excellent communication and team working skills are essential.
