Permanent contract; Full-time 1 FTE (35 hours per week) Part-Time working may be considered for suitable candidates

Responsible to: Programme and Development Manager.

Job Purpose: To deliver teaching programmes and contribute to the development and efficient operation of the department to meet Inverness College’s operational and quality targets on a variable teaching basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Teacher Education team at Inverness College.  Part of your duties will include teaching on the PGDE programme.  This is a cross sector programme to prepare students to become teachers in the Primary or Secondary sectors.

There will also be an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of the Masters in Education Critical Enquiry programme for candidates who have relevant experience or who are working towards or hold a Masters qualification relevant to this level of study.

The successful candidate must have full registration with The General Teaching Council for Scotland or be eligible for full registration.
