Applications are invited for the role of Contracts Advisor. This will be an open-ended post within the Legal Team in Research & Enterprise Services. A key challenge of the role is managing a high volume of agreements with constant re-prioritization to respond to the reactive environment. Taking a pragmatic, risk-based approach is essential to ensure risks are managed and mitigated. The successful candidate will provide: - contractual advice and support for both the research development and knowledge exchange teams; - a service of drafting, negotiating and approving contracts for the University's research and innovation activity; - general IP advice to both staff and students of the University; and - general legal support to the University's research intensification strategy.
This role does not meet the minimum requirements set by UKVI to enable sponsorship of migrant workers. Therefore we cannot progress applications from candidates who require sponsorship to work in the UK.
