Product Development Manager for Computing Programmes

The role

As Product Development Manager you will be responsible for the development, review, maintenance and support for NCC Education’s computing qualifications and teaching and learning programmes. Our qualifications span school age through to Master’s degree programmes. You will ensure that qualifications and related assessments match published specifications and are fully compliant with the requirements set out by the UK Qualifications and Higher Education Regulators.

The candidate

You will have a good knowledge of computing qualifications and ideally, you will have current or recent experience within the area of qualification development and assessment, with the ability to successfully manage the design and development of qualification specifications, assessments (including review and sign off processes) and/or teaching and learning materials delivered online from inception to delivery. Experience of unit writing, assigning credit and levels is highly desirable. Teaching experience is desirable.

Product Development Managers work with colleagues and contractors who are based in various locations (UK and overseas) and departments and a strong track record in effectively coordinating multiple projects and people at the same time is essential.

Experience of delivering training and development content to a range of stakeholders is essential as this role also requires the ability to provide exceptional qualification support to both internal and external customers.
