You will be engaged full time in research to investigate the microbiota of the scalp in healthy individuals and those with dandruff. This work will involve studying barrier markers in ex vivo skin innoculated with scalp microbiota, as a model system.
You will be part of a team which investigates skin barrier function in health and disease and how the microbiota interact with the epidermal barrier.
You must have at least a B.Sc in a biological science, or equivalent experience. Previous experience in the fields of skin biology or microbiology will be an advantage.
