About the Role
Building on our world leading research as identified in REF2014, and our status as Entrepreneurial University of the Year, we have identified three key areas of focus for our new research, knowledge exchange and innovation strategy: Smart Living, Future Cities, and Digital and Creative Industries.

As Sector Lead you’ll be responsible for securing and exploiting consultancy, research, knowledge exchange and commercialisation opportunities in the Future Cities space. With a degree in a relevant area and a higher degree; you’ll have a track record of demonstrable success in significant bid writing, income generation, business development and project management.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strategic vision and excellent communication skills to play a leading role in further developing our position as an outstanding provider of innovative, near-market solutions to current societal challenges.
