An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Desk Manager to join the University, working within the Information Systems & Technology Directorate.
The successful candidate will manage the IT Service Desk Team to provide first line support for all Information Systems & Technology Directorate services and be responsible for the first line support of the University’s systems, infrastructure and network including user management and security, password management, email account creation and antivirus monitoring.
The candidate will co-ordinate and supervise IT infrastructure monitoring activities to detect service degradation and failure in accordance with industry best practice and directorate standards in partnership with other teams in the Directorate.
