The University of Exeter Business School is an interdisciplinary business school dedicated to excellence in research and teaching across the management and economic disciplines. We seek an exceptional individual for the role of Associate Dean (Education). The candidate will shape the education agenda for an ambitious business school located at the heart of a world-class research intensive university. In collaboration with the new Pro-Vice Chancellor and Executive Dean, Professor David Allen, and the Senior Management Team of the School, the post holder will work to create and implement an innovative educational programme that differentiates University of Exeter Business School and achieves a best-in-class student experience.
This role will require an educationalist with strong experience of designing, developing and overseeing successful, online and blended, innovative teaching programmes. Success in delivering educational excellence in a research-intensive institution is essential.
Whilst the role holder will be expected to undertake the duties and responsibilities of the Associate Dean (Education) post, they will also be expected to undertake duties as either Professor or Associate Professor depending on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
For an appointment made at the Associate Professor level, the salary scale is £54,637 to £68,836 per annum. For the Professor level, there will be a competitive salary reflecting qualifications and experience offered.
