Adam Matthew Digital is a highly successful and growing publisher of digital resources for the Humanities and Social Sciences based in Marlborough, Wiltshire. As early adopters of the latest technologies, we are able to provide technical solutions that are considered the best in our field. We use cutting edge technical concepts to produce online solutions that are scalable, intuitive and user friendly.

We are now recruiting for an experienced Developer to join our Technical team.

Within a supportive team, this position will involve working from the design phase and span the development lifecycle including testing, go-live, post-implementation support and feedback.

This is an exciting time to join us where you will get the opportunity to support us in a creative and imaginative environment building on a range of technologies for C# ASP.Net and MVC5 based framework with a view to develop a more open platform using .Net Core.   

The successful candidate will have previous commercial experience in web development or be an experienced developer.

Advantageous development skills: .Net Core/ Linux; ASP.Net or MVC.Net; delivering digital humanities solutions in higher education

Applicants must possess solid proficiency in web development and be able to articulate their interest in developing for the web.

The successful candidate will also require: 

  • A high level of attention to detail 
  • A logical approach to problem solving 
  • The ability to work well under pressure 
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and adapt quickly to work on a set of evolving priorities 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
