Applications are invited for the post of School Manager within the School of Nursing & Midwifery. You will be responsible for providing strategic business management support, assistance and advice to the Head of School on all areas of administration, financial planning and management of the School as well as play a key role in the long-term strategic planning of the School and to lead on the implementation of policy relating to the provision of administrative support for all the School’s portfolio of activities.

You will have the ability to communicate both face-to-face and on the telephone with students, staff at all levels across the University; including NHS partners and other stakeholders.

You should have a Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject as well as a professional qualification and/or evidence of commitment to CPD. You should have significant experience in a senior administration role and/or environment, with an understanding of Higher Education policies and procedures relating to academic administration, including assessment and quality assurance. Experience of working in or with the NHS and knowledge of clinical workforce requirements would be an advantage.
