This is an exciting opportunity for a Hospitality professional with an entrepreneurial flair and experience of teaching in Higher Education to join the highly successful Department of Aviation, Events and Tourism Management at Buckinghamshire New University.
This is a new post created specifically to set up hospitality and hotel management within the Department. The University is working with a number of partners and industry professionals to launch degrees in hospitality and hotel management.
We are looking for an individual who has the appetite and ability to:
- Bring to fruition and account manage a number of international and home- based collaborative partnerships in hospitality and hotel management.
- Seek out commercial/consultancy opportunities in the hospitality field.
- Act as lead for academic course/higher degree apprenticeship development in hospitality management.
- Teach on hospitality management and tourism management related courses.
The role is fixed term (2 years) in the first instance but will be reviewed in the light of the appointee making the hospitality and hotel management portfolio a success.
